Dan McFeeley was a writer for the Indy Star who ingratiated himself with Mayor Brainard through repetitive superlatives. He romanced the Mayor and got a starting ‘ghost’ contract of $100K annually out of it.

I say ghost because it wasn’t clear what Danny Boy would do for the money.

In an early bill to Carmel Accounts Payable Dan listed what he accomplished for his $8,000+/month.

Dan is easily underpaid as you will see in his work results for Nov 2013:

No metrics, no specifics, and no accountability. Yes, less than 12 months after our 2012 Bailout was complete we were back to monkey business as usual. After all, what is $100K/year? It’s chimp change.

So Dan obviously had no plan and was not held accountable to follow one. So what does Dan actually do? For a small sampling, we have included some of Dan’s best work from April 30 and May 1, 2019, just a week before the election. Obviously, a time he was on his best behavior.

For most one snide remark would be enough but apparently, that is what Dan is paid to do.

Yes, Dan is just engaging in Free Speech, rude as it may be, for $400+/day.

Could Dan be feeling comfortable about his position since the lying mailers by Team Brainard?

Apparently, because he wasn’t done. It was pointed out Dan was being a bit overbearing and Karma has a way of evening things out over time.

Yes, after all, common courtesy on Facebook by a government contractor was not part of either his contract or apparently his personal character.

So poor Dan needed to cool off

after such a grueling session.
